We recently had our annual Beach Day with the whole high school in attendance. We met at school, loaded up two large buses, and headed to the beach for a day of "learning." You might be wondering exactly what kind of learning a hundred people can do at the beach... well, here are a few things we learned;

if you spin around 10 times bent over with your head on a bat, it's hard to run.

When determined, 18 people can stand for 5 seconds on 8 feet!

Crab walking, bear crawling, and being the wheels of a wheelbarrow are more difficult than you think.

Trying to walk back-to-back with someone while keeping a ball between you (with no hands) takes talent,

and finally that a hundred people can actually hang out and just enjoy each other. Even though my team of Seniors didn't win, we had a great day and can't wait to get that Spirit Stick back from the Sophomores next month!
